A downloadable game
ChildProof teaches adults how to prevent and reduce home accidents by making the environment safer for children.
In this app demo, you help Mina's parents keep the house safe for her. Your goal is to eliminate potential hazards before Mina can get hurt!
Game dynamics:
- Explore the house: discover dangerous objects and situations.
- Safety: Complete actions such as covering electrical sockets, locking drawers, removing dangerous objects and more.
- Earn points: Collect valuable points for each safety action you complete.
- Avoid hazards: If Mina comes close to a hazard you haven't solved yet, you'll lose points!.
- Use tools: your smartphone will help you monitor Mina's movements.
- Complete all tasks: Your phone will constantly monitor your progress with a detailed list of completed tasks. Each time you complete a task, you will receive a recognition badge.
- Learn with guidance: after each completed action, a guide explains why it is important for your child's safety.
Childproof is a project carried out as part of the Virtual Reality course at the Politecnico di Torino.
